Starting to get cold sweats about the long summer hols, no friends around, crowded park cafes etc. What can we do all summer long? Which classes keep going - does Ruby Rhymes? Thinking about doing a swim course at Crystal Palace. Can't work out what the Whippersnappers lot are doing but have emailed them to find out. And the Horniman?

Maybe we could collect/share info here. And maybe a regular weekly meet in a park/horniman sandpit?

hello,

I currently lead a baby music class in West Hampstead for babies up to age three which has times throughout the week and am planning to start a similar regular class in the East Dulwich area. The classes are for a mix of ages from babies up to age three so are sibling friendly and involve sing alongs, dancing and percussion/instrument playing. The classes are always drop in, ?5/class and would be Monday/Wednesday/Saturday mornings and Tuesday afternoons in East Dulwich.

Ideally I will be starting the classes in the next few weeks and would appreciate any feedback regarding interest/need for such classes in the area and what times/days would be best! There seem to be quite a few other baby music classes in East Dulwich already but they seem to be only once a week, more expensive, age specific or require a term commitment so it appears there may be a need for a class such as mine.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

All the best,

Bea

Also agree with New Mother. Drop in sessions would be great. I would be intersted in the Tues afternoon or Monday sessions. seem to be the driest day for classes around here, although I didn't know about the session at Grove Vale library. Will have to check that out. Anyone know what time it runs?

On Wed and Fri mornings you would have competition with Busy Bees at the Horniman, which is free.

Come sing, dance and play percussion instruments with your baby in a relaxing, sociable, positive atmosphere! • By now you’ve hopefully seen that our main demonstration against Trump’s state visit is in London on Wednesday. Many of you have also asked, though, about how you can help ‘welcome’ Donald Trump to Windsor when he arrives there tomorrow (Tuesday) evening. So here’s the plan: We’re asking you to come and line Windsor High Street tomorrow in a peaceful, static protest.  Time: 6pm, Tue 16 Sept Location: Assemble outside Windsor Parish Church, High St, Windsor SL4 1LS and then spread out along the High Street. Grab some cardboard and a pen and make a homemade sign to show Donald Trump and his supporters what you think of them!  The world’s media will be in Windsor to cover the state visit, so showing visually that he is not welcome will send an important message far and wide. If you are coming then please join this Signal chat group for important updates.     Protest safety Please buddy up and come with someone else You have a right to peacefully demonstrate, but we are expecting a high police presence. Remain non-violent and non-confrontational, and do not talk to the police. It may be better to dress inconspicuously, not like an ‘activist’ We plan on ending at 7.30pm. Please leave in groups of 5–10 and make sure you have a bust card This action is entirely legal but we still recommend that you read this key advice when going on a protest to know your rights. Remember:  No comment No personal details Ask ‘under what power?’ No duty solicitor Don’t accept a caution Here is the protest support line: 07946 541 511 and here is more information on Stop & Search under the Public Order Act.   Thank you for being part of the movement against Trump. In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
