Don't want to scare anyone, but it is nearly Halloween... ish!

We (Zoe & Leon) run audio, podcast & radio projects for children, and our next exciting event will be held at the awesome Punk Me Up Cafe on Halloween Night!

We're inviting your children (any age) to take part in our Spooky Soundwaves Radio Workshop. The children will be performing their scariest Halloween stories in our pop-up radio studio, complete with their own DIY sound effects to bring their stories to (after)life... we're talking celery, ketchup, staplers, scrap metal, rice & anything else we can get our hands on. Our otherworldly items of inspiration could be used, or feel free to bring along your fave ghost story to read out loud.

Once all live performances have been recorded, the children will be broadcasting a live radio show emceeing from inside the cafe for all parents, friends, and monsters to tune into! We will also post the show on our website after the event, so you can still hear the spooky tales for years to come.

Tickets (for children) are ?12 each, parents & carers can join the Halloween fun for free!

I'm posting this early as we have limited spaces in the workshop, so do book fast if you would like to take part!

Bookings must be made in advance at http://www.wordplayeducation.co.uk/events/ but do email us if you have any questions on [email protected]

Hope to see and hear you there!

All the best,

Zoe & Leon

    • Leon came to sort out a lighting issue for us last week.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave clear, detailed advice about how to avoid in future.  Would highly recommend him.

I love the fact that you, Dave CPR, are so unaware of how another can be affected by something that does not personally affect yourself. Blissful ignorance. Lack of Empathy. Cold hearted.
    • Not fair on the patients or the consultants, either.  My brother's an ED consultant and he is on his knees - they all have the flu but have to work through it, because it's so busy at this time of year. Adding the strike to this just makes everything feel even more impossible and he's pretty low right now.
