A colleague of mine came in to work yesterday with her lovely new baby girl, and she handed me the Pregnancy Book that she'd been issued when pregnant, saying "there is a bloke in there who looks just like you".

I looked, and sure enough, there is me and Mrs Keef.

When we were in hospital (having gone in for induction), waiting for something to happen on a Monday morning, the ward manager came and asked if we'd pose for some photos, in exchange for some Sainsbury's vouchers. We said yes, as it was something to do.

Now I wish I'd had more than an hours sleep, combed my hair, and worn something other than my "to the pub" t-shirt!!!

Still, it paid for the shopping that week.

EDITED: Because the N key on my laptop seems to be sticking.

Nice one Keef - hope you got a few copies of it, hand it out to your mum and the in-laws, like. We got the nod once to say that there was a picture of our first born in the Horniman "What's On Guide". we dashed to get a copy, flicked through and were soon staring at a darling picture of a cute little cherub illustrating the Storytelling sessions. Alas, the blue eyed, tousle-haired blond boy in centre stage was not ours - but if you carefully searched up in the top left was a brown blur. That was him.

    • Remember, you never know what someone else is going through behind closed doors....
    • Is anyone else having difficulty booking Silver Swim sessions (Tuesday and Thursday between 3pm-4pm?) Almost all the spaces are taken before the online booking system opens at 10pm several days before. Last night there appeared to be one space available for next Tuesday. I tried to book at one second past 10pm but was unsuccessful. This seems to have been a recent phenomenon. I made a telephone call this morning but just received a recorded message saying that the voicemail box was full. Am I right in assuming that in person bookings are now taking precedence over online ones?
    • I completely agree with you, Angelina. But it's worth noting that no one else has a problem with her, or finds her rude /  has mentioned her aggressively banging gates / ringing doorbells etc.
    • But I don't think that was what you meant, was it? But he can hardly be held responsible for what somebody else did! Just discovered I forgot to post the above  last night, and now it's overtaken by long posts.  I don't have sufficient knowledge  to counter some of what has been said above, some of which appears to be opinion rather than facts, so it would be pointless for me to say anything else.
