We are planning to go on our first holiday abroad with our baby daughter in September, when she will be 6 months old. We want to go somewhere warm where we can go swimming every day, either in the pool or the sea. My ideal place would be self catering suites that have the facilities of a hotel ie room service etc so we don't have to cook every night. Can anyone recommend any really good hotels / villas / self catering places which are baby friendly?

Any recommendations would be gratefully received!!

thanks!

Pefki Islands Resort in Rhodes is a lovely place. We go there every year and are planning to take our daughter there for her first holiday next year. It is self catering and there is lovely restaurants nearby (5 min walk). The resort has two pools and you can also use the facilities at the resort just a minute away (owned by the same people). Place is very clean, people friendly.

    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
