Loz
Personally, I have a nasty suspicion Cher has mental issues. She just doesn't seem stable. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/12863-x-factor/page/17/#findComment-387367 Share on other sites
DJKillaQueen
JLS ARE within the R'n'B genre. They may be the more mainstream side of pop/ r'n'b but nonetheless they are R'n'b as opposed to pure pop (like for example Girls Aloud). DJKillaQueen
What does that have to do with it?You said there were no decent rappers in the UK...... Or are you making the mistake of thinking rap is something that can only emerge form a poor ghetto? citizenED
X-Factor stirs the Forum massive! There are generalisations aplenty being thrown around here. Comparisons between X-factor contestants and established recording artists, whilst understandable, are a little unwise. It is only a talent show after all. I mean I went and saw my little boy perform in a school play and thought he was wonderful. Bought a tear to my eye, quite rightly - but I'm not comparing him to any great actor. the reason Matt was so good singing "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was because it was emotional within the dramatic narrative of the show. He'd had a wobbly performance the previous week so the audience at home and in the studio were primed for a great one from him. They got it. But it worked specifically in the melodrama of the evening. mockney piers
Thinking about it, white satin probably doesn't do a knight much good when someone's swinging a spiked club at him. mockney piers
and they're dressing up in it?Mother issues I'm guessing. As a complete incidental aside, the Mongols only wore light boiled leather armour if at all, preferring silk shirts as an arrow went into your body without breaking allowing you to pull it out without causing massive internal bleeding and lessening the risk of infection.Aaaaanyway....moving swiftly on...... (like a Mongol horse archer....(keep digging piers........)) mockney piers
you're kidding, do they say that? No, it was a great battles programme or something years ago, about the showdown between the mongols and medieval knights, Leibnitz or something. It was something of a one sided affair.
