I'm in Brighton with my bitches this weekend. Staying at the Metropole. Any fabulous suggestions?

I'm told the drag at Legends Hotel is worth catching. I'm totally up for eyeballing something glamorous in a frock so that's a possibility. I'm bringing my walking shoes so I can walk myself bug-eyed and burn off the necessary calories to warrant a plate of fish and chips. Otherwise I'm devoid of any ideas. Suggestions welcome.

if you fancy a night on the tiles there is always something good on at the volks and there are loads of great bars in those archways under the main promenade, really nice as you can spill out onto the beach if you feel like it. during the day the lanes are good for a bit of shopping, and there are lots of good places to eat and drink. I know a pub that does THE BEST roast I have ever tasted (better than mum's - is it sacralige to say that?), but can't remember the name, will try and find it out from my mates that live there.

    • It should be easy enough to point out to anyone even thinking of voting reform that should they take power they will have no impact. And will make things worse.  And if people think politicians break promises now and reform are a breath of fresh air then they ain’t seen nothing yet  but they won’t really care about immigration if reform do win  uk used to be about law and order and now we have dim talking heads everywhere unchallenged going “leave the ECHR, stuff the judges, just do it!!”   like life is that simple sweeties
    • I have been reliably informed that it's not the same group.
    • my bet is it's the same group and no amount of talking to is going to make a difference.
    • Definitely not intended  to come across as "gleeful". Quite the opposite, because developments such as this will only encourage extreme right-wingers such as Reform. And heaven help us if they ever formed a government. It's incumbent on Labour to come up with an effective  policy to "smash the gangs" otherwise we are facing Farage and his gang further down the road.
