Bob Buzzard
I went to get an allotment and was told there is a long waiting list :( However my friend at The Castle said its possible to pay a ?250 advance on the allotment fees to be priortised on the list. I then mentioned this inducement to the membership secretary, but he didn't seem to know what I was talking about, so now I'm still at the bottom of the list - most frustrating. Sue
If you are actually serious, Grove allotments next to Camber Tennis Club near the entrance to the woods have a relatively short waiting list. Where did you get that idea from? No wonder you get your gardening and cookbooks mixed up. Who cooks books? TheArtfulDogger
Hey Bob Looking in Sues gardening book, if you dig a perfect trench 6 feet deep, 7 feet long and 3 feet wide then you can plant and grow your own BuilderausShagaMisses which should grow a tall stiff plant that your misses can utilise whilst you spend solitary evenings dibbing in your potting shed 😎 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/129200-allotment/#findComment-1066135 Share on other sites
peckham_ryu
I have some exotic crops that I need somewhere discreet to cultivate. If I could intersperse them among your prize marrows or whatnot, I could probably help out with the facilitation fee?
