Do you think the lovely Mic could teach my dog to read the "No dogs" signs on Goose Green?

I'm looking after a Doberman (surely right up his street) and the last three times I've walked him on the Green, the gate to the dog-free section has been left open and he's nipped straight in there. While getting him out toot sweet (sic) surely it is incumbent on the users to close the gate after themselves?

Sorry - that last post was way too serious.

To lighten the thread, perhaps Mic could branch out into dog fashions - will do loads for his image:

[sorry am Luddite who knows not how to post url]

While Mic is rather an idiot... Pit bulls do get a rather bad rap in the press. Very few reported incidents actually involve pit bulls. The reporting might be a bit different on this side of the pond though, I'm still new here! They can certainly be dangerous dogs, but can also be fabulous pets.

I'm shocked you lot don't all like my hero MM!

I think all the hardnuts should get the pansies out of power, cos they've had it for ages and don't seem to know what to do with it, other than sell it to the highest bidder.

I've got a scary dog, and he's great.

Mockney - so do poncy, unsporty, bullied dictators like Blair, Hiltler and Stalin!

I think the way I look at it is, that in the past, when these people did not have technology to back them up, they would have been bottom of the pack, but now they are running the world! Scary stuff!

Bring back/dig up Oliver Cromwell! Now there was a man who was prepared to put his sword where his mouth was.

I'm not big on hierarchical leaders. I think we all need to become leaders, instead of allowing these deeply flawed unnatural leaders to be running the planet.

Power to the people, especially us Chavs, who outnumber the poncy unsporty types, but can't be arsed running anything much (at the moment!).

    • The empty shelves is well reported, but the sewage smell has been awful for weeks if not months, and just keeps getting worse. It started off near the Costa machine/ behind the delivery and collections booth thing, but now it hits you the second you walk in the store. I’m amazed nothing (visibly at least) appears to be going on to fix it. Somewhat relieved it’s not just me who can smell it!

    • I presume the terrapins originally came to the park as unwanted pets. It seems to be fairly common for people to dump them in park ponds etc when they realise they don't stay the small size they were when they bought them.
