On Sunday 4th December The Centre for Wildlife Gardening is holding its annual Tree Day!

This year in partnership with the Great North Wood project.

All are welcome to take part in our free, fun-packed day from 11-4

There will be tree-themed opportunities for all ages including:

*tree trails

*tree ID walks

*tree dressing

*willow and clay crafts

*tree planting

We will even be attempting to make ink from oak apples!

There will also be the opportunity for tea, cake and to buy a tree (or several) to plant in your garden.

  There is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class with a wide range of ages. The teacher is Fi and she is amazing and the classes are lots of fun. look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge which is a day of dance to include just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website ( look at the events section) .

  I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise. Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.

  So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
