Tanza
Just had a baffling phone conversation with hairdresser Myla and Davis in Northcross road - trying (and failing) to book a haircut for a 13-year old boy at the weekend. They won't take a booking at a weekend with a child - even if the customer is happy to pay a full-price adult haircut for that child. I've never known a hairdresser actually turn a full-paying customer away on the basis of age. They must be doing well if they can afford to be so strict on their no-kid policy at weekends. I'm genuinely puzzled. I get the fact that hairdressers can't justify cheaper kids haircuts in peak time - but I've never had a hairdresser refuse to take an adult fee for a kid before. Their business, their rules, of course. Odd though. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/131510-myla-and-davis/ Share on other sites
Langdale
Try the barbers in Dulwich Village - Porters - you can walk in without a booking and they will probably be loads cheaper too! They are also fantastic - my son goes there. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/131510-myla-and-davis/#findComment-1073158 Share on other sites
Tanza
Thank you for that tip re Porters. Funnily enough a friend just recommended Porters to me - her teenage son goes there and lots of his school friends too. Wasn't on my radar. A walk-in hairdresser sounds ideal. Thanks. dale Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Try the barbers in Dulwich Village - Porters - you> can walk in without a booking and they will> probably be loads cheaper too!
