whippersnappers is a fun class with music and story-telling, I'd say best for toddlers not babies as toddlers get involved in story-telling by dressing up, but I used to take my son when he was a baby and he loved the drumming session (about 10 min of banging on drums and shakers) - and then he slept for 2 hours after each class, which was brilliant! :)
Vik - yep - there are always a variety of ages - today at the Albrighton centre a 3.5 yr old would have been one of the eldest - but not always. Sessions at Brockwell Lido and other places too - some of which you pay for, some you don't - check the website[/url. I like it more than most of these music classes certainly - much more funky and fun.

They are currently using a temporary building at the top of the estate, the entrance is the last one as you're going up the hill just before Dog Kennel Hill School, drive in as far as you can and you'll see temp buildings on the left hand side.

The actual centre is on Albrighton Road, half way up Dog Kennel Hill but it has been demolished and is in the throws of being re-built, not sure when it's due to re-open.

    • Just bumping this because it's a question that comes up every so often, and Southwark Council actually has a list of textile recycling bin locations:    https://www.southwark.gov.uk/waste-and-recycling/reduce-your-waste-0/reuse
    • Maybe it's being moved to us now they've had that spot of bother
    • You would have to speak to Rob, the manager, and see what he says (and if the upstairs room is free on the nights you want,  whether it's suitable for you.) Other than that I can't advise, except that he asks that everyone attending  buys at least one drink during the evening, which seems completely fair! I wouldn't have thought the room would be big enough, but you could try. The Lordship and The Palmerston also have upstairs rooms, but I don't know if they'd use them for orchestra practice. Also, how about East Dulwich Community Centre in Darrell Road? That has a big sized space which might be more suitable for you. https://eastdulwichcommunitycentre.org.uk/ Your orchestra looks fantastic 🤩
