Annasfield
That's awful -sorry to hear but I'm glad he's okay. I cycle up Peckham Rye towards Nunhead on my commute & would be an easy target as I'm normally knackered by the time I get to the top. robbin
Any description of these three people? I cycle, walk and run up that way quite often and it would be good to have a general description, if only to rule out other sets of 3 people who may be hanging/walking about. As you say we should all be extra vigilant and aware, and it would help in that regard if we knew what in particular to be aware of. It would set alarm bells ringing if I saw people loitering who fitted a description of these three. I wouldn't rush off and call the police just on the basis of a description, but I might pay a bit more attention than normal (from a safe distance) to see if they were truly acting suspiciously.I hope your partner's doing ok now mitchcoker and that these people get caught very soon. Perhaps the police should put up a notice to warn people and deter the muggers? apbremer
Why call the scum "lads". You make it sound like a childish prank. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/133517-mugging-peckham-rye-park/page/2/#findComment-1089191 Share on other sites
rendelharris
Oh for goodness' sake, first the OP gets criticised for calling the incident (perfectly correctly) a mugging, now his/her choice of nomenclature is being policed. Give it a rest. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/133517-mugging-peckham-rye-park/page/2/#findComment-1089209 Share on other sites
