Man & van to take rubbish away DONE! See below.

I need a man (or 2) with a van to take rubbish away & recycle etc etc.

Microwave/sink/several bags of broken wood/gas piping (a fair amount)/bits and pieces / cardboard & wrappings / packaging etc etc - will fill a builders van - there's lots of stuff! (we've just had a new kitchen fitted). You might want to look first & give a quote. Or simply pm me with an estimated quote. Many thanks!

Many thanks to everyone who replied. I went with someone who was comfortable with texting messages and sounded as though he knew what he (and his mate) were doing. I notice someone else was asking for a man with a van and I posted this : "I used Smith41 last week. He was excellent. Clean, polite, punctual, hardworking, good with text messages (ie you knew exactly what was happening). Great". (07818568095)

Others looked good too and I suggested 2 of them re-post their replies and quotes here.

    • Friend recommends Penge Cycle Club.  Southwark Cyclists usually do two social cycle rides on Saturday, you don't need to be a member (London Cycling Campaign) but recommended.  They are advertised on the What's On section of EDF. And you can go on their other Borough group rides, Lewisham Cyclists often do long rides. Generally very cycle friendly around here, despite occasional on line hostility.

    • This Italian restaurant at the Southbound Goose Green bus stop on Lordship Lane is excellent but doesn't seem to get much custom, especially at lunchtimes - a sad indictment of East Dulwich society.  If it were in Camberwell/Peckham (where I used to live) it would be rammed. If we don't want Lordship Lane full of chains, then good quality independent family places need custom.
