Tomorrow sees our last Jam of the year, musically 2016 was a sad year with the passing of so many great artists. We are going to celebrate the end of this year and those we lost with our big Xmas bash. If you are a regular Jammer or a newbie come and join us for a unique music experience. A co-operative of 60 professional musicians get together to entertwine genres and styles with truly amazing results. They are also dedicated to helping bring on aspiring musicians. Entry is FREE, the bar is cheap and the vibe super friendly.

I thought I'd share a few comments that have been directed at us this year, that made me smile.

"70's decor, 70's prices...I wasn't expecting such amazing talent, there's a film to be made here" - Alex

"Great Jam last night, I lost a shoe" - Mark W.

"One of the finest free music nights around" - LDN (online)

"Stay away, you'll hate it" - Micky T.

"I've lived in E. Dulwich for years, how come I didn't know this was happening' - so many people!

7:30 - midnight at Southwark Sports Social Club, 37 Dulwich Common SE21 7EU (right next door to the riding school)

Vehicle entrance through Peckham Town FC. Satnav/Google Maps: Southwark Sports Ground.

    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
    • The accompaniment to our "Christmas Pudding" aka Nothing-Whatever-Like-A- Christmas-Pudding last year  at The Cherry Tree was "brandy butter ice-cream." If it had ever been near any brandy, the brandy must have been waved in its direction from a very great distance. Same with butter. The ice cream tasted like bog standard "vanilla" from a catering tub. At least it did bear some resemblance to ice cream. Whereas the "Christmas Pudding" bore no resemblance whatever to any Christmas Pudding I have ever seen or tasted in my many  decades of seeing and tasting Christmas Puddings. Oh, and Cinzano Bianco. Bleurgh. My sister used to drink that. 🤢
    • Paul Sinha said the other day that Auf Wiedersehen Pet is the German version of Animal Hospital.
    • Complaint letters already sent that he bats off. IT incompetence just exacerbates the problem House under offer but he doesn't tell us this, we have to call the agents.  He had a wobbly when the gold digger contacted a previous estate agent - we have little to do with the GD.
