A man was sent to prison for 12 weeks today for microwaving his guinea pig after a drunken argument with his girlfriend. How can anyone be so cruel?

I had a Top Tip lined up about spicing up your guinea pig's boring life by using a small bowl of ready brek as quicksand hidden in his cage, but as a mark of respect for the microwaved guinea pig I will not post it.

That is cruel. I get hungry sometimes when I've had a few and have resorted to cooking up some strange snakcs but that's taking it a bit far!

There is a story in the local Brighton paper about someone sticking needles and screws in to apples and putting them in a field with horses. People think that it is yobs but I don?t think so, yobs chuck bricks and are spur of the moment. This is premeditated and would have taken time to prepare my guess would be that it is an older, angry type man, you know the type, the ones who nearly burst a blood vessel when their neighbours trees shed some leaves on their garden or something equally unimportant in the grand scheme of things. They?re bored and get stressed over things that other people wouldn?t think twice about.

Unless they?re sick serial killers in the making.

    • Hi  After a surprising split I find myself trying to furnish a home. If you gave anything that you don't want that may help I'd be so so so grateful if you could let me know please.  Thank you so much
    • Hallo As far as I know  info you have quoted is wrong.  You can phone for an appointment although I have always found it easier to do online. Go to their website for info on how to book appointments Any requests I have made have been reviewed and answered by a GP within 4 hours
    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
    • My car was stolen a few months back from my driveway but I had a tracker and found it in a private car park in Lavender Hill close to the police station. I was lucky. The thieves hide it up against that eventuality. High spec cars are targeted I'm afraid. The way it was stolen required the thieves to wire in their own computer accessing a front light (which had had a metal sheet welded across which they prised off). They had searched for a tracker but not found it. They also had to cut away a steering wheel lock. They had to come well tooled up and briefed to do what they did. Beating them off is non trivial. As I said, them not finding my tracker was just lucky.
