Sorry to bring this up again. Anyone knows what goes on with lessons at Dulwich Leisure centre? Called them last week and I was told that I have to go there in March and they will give me the information but she warned me that there is a waiting list. Just wondering, if I cannot pre book, how is there a waiting list, is this from last term? I have read about the confusion, but its the closed pool to us and have no time to travel further. Looking for lessons for a 3.5 year old.

I think it may also be due to the fact that pre-school children don't begin to move up

through the levels until they are 5, someone correct me if I'm wrong! Therefore once the

spaces are filled in the first term, these children probably remain in the class for the

whole year with few spaces becoming available, and yes, existing children have priority booking.

The next term/10 week block, starts week beginning March 14th, so the enrolment day for new

children should be very soon.

    • Hello. My two kids and myself have both used micro scooters for years now (oldest is 10). They are long lasting and you can get spare wheels and parts which is good so I'd recommend them. Ebay will have lots including refurbished ones. We had the bigger size 3 wheel only briefly, the maxi, used it about 1-2 years for scooting to school before child wanted 2 wheels. He's been speedy on 2 wheels since at least age 7. So you're at a tricky age to pick for.  I guess think about her ability and height.
