ed_pete
The Search function is not working for me either. I typed "wardrobe" into the search box and clicked the search button. It says the search is running but then comes back with a blank screen with the following URL.http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/search.php?9,search=wardrobe,page=1,match_type=ALL,match_dates=365,match_forum=ALL Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13584-search-is-broken/#findComment-367564 Share on other sites
ianr
Seems ok now. I suspect the server was going through a Zen phase. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13584-search-is-broken/#findComment-367799 Share on other sites
Administrator Administrator Posted October 4, 2010 Administrator Share Posted October 4, 2010 Yes, the /tmp folder on the server was full up again which stopped the search from working. Should be fine now. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/13584-search-is-broken/#findComment-368114 Share on other sites

Should be fine now.If it's going to be a recurring problem, run a cron job to regularly purge it of all but the freshest stuff and email the admins of any impending space problems. Administrator Administrator Posted December 4, 2010 Administrator Share Posted December 4, 2010 All fixed. It seems that when we did a backup the other day we accidentally left the (2Gb) file on the server which meant it was virtually full.Unfortunately we don't have the skills in house to create and run a purge script, but we will be upgrading the software soon, the newer version of the software has better space-saving cache-clearing facilities which should stop things like this happening.Thank you for letting us know about this problem by the way, we don't know about some issues until we're told.
