Did anyone else spot 'Jerry' in Downton Abbey this evening? Think he's the dad of the bloke that the maid doesn't want to marry. (Dunno 'jerry's' real name but he was Egg's dad in This Life. The one that erm...got raaaather friendly with Anna)

He looked pretty old back in the nineties but wow he's reaaaaallly old looking now.

As the series reaches a climax and Spanish flu sweeps through Downton, we must wait until Sunday to find out who kicks the bucket. Not unless of course, you have seen the cast list already released by ITV for the next season. It's like Cluedo but easier.

Egg as in Andrew Lincon.

His real name is Andrew Clutterbuck & if ever there was a Proper Downton name, that would be one.

Plotlines - to suit aged 5 and up.

The more it goes on, the more laughable it becomes. Looks nice though.

Well I certainly wasn't expecting Cora to succumb to Spanish Flu - it would have looked too much of a complete rip-off of Upstairs Downstairs. The fiancee was always odds-on though.

I don't know about anyone else, but I was really disappointed with this second series compared to how fantastic the first was.

The first series wasn't fantastic though, it was just new and has worn thin very quickly.
