Narrow carseats - fitting 3 across

I'm looking for advice on fitting 3 carseats in the back of our car for a newborn, 22 month old and almost 5 year old.

We can squeeze ours in but it'll be a nightmare each time and I'm thinking about swapping 1 or 2 for narrower seats to make life easier.

Any recommendations?

Theres a group on facebook called 'car seat advice for mummies and daddies' that is useful for this kind of thing. Think that the Britax evolva is narrower for a HBB. Might fit between 2 rear facing for the other 2?

We have the Maxi Cosi Rodi high back boosters which are narrow - that would fit your 5 year old I think. I think our 3 year old is in a Graco Nautilus. Then we had the Maxi Cosi bucket car seat that everyone has for newborns.

We were able to fit 3 across the back of our Ford Focus using those.

But each car and combination is different so it's good to go and test them out if you can.

There is also a website called Narrowestcarseats.co.uk or something that shows the narrowest model for each stage.
