...and the reason he told his cult followers to vote in person..

Maybe underneath it all, Trump actually wants out, and he?s been seeding the ways for some time.

He realised he couldn?t just leave or loose in the usual way. So he?s set up this ?fraud? idea, like bags of votes being found at 4 in the morning, etc.

He ultimately knows he?s lost, but he needs to look like he?s been robbed or his cult-like followers might drift away. This way he can be the ?people?s (Republicans) President? from here on in, lobbing his ideas and views into the mix to his followers ad nauseam. And shouting in from the sidelines and future rallies (they?ll be like a dystopian version of the old Harlem Globetrotters tour) with Trump slam dunking his old ?lock her up? and ?build the wall? slogans, with merch and 2 litre gulp cups with built in straws, for sale at the merch stand in the lobby of the event) and as the years go on, he?ll age into an old Evil Knevil like character, making claims like ?I?m going to jump the Grand Canyon on a rocket, only it?ll be a green screen and Trump will be on in Vegas for a season, like a bloated Elvis, where you can buy tickets and an eat all you like buffet for a thousand bucks.

Mattel will make a Donald doll, with an orange face and a cord which you pull from a ring at the back ?Make America great again? and ?grab them by the pussy? also ?you?re very nasty asking that question, very nasty? bleating out of a little speaker hidden inside the oversized suit. One day in 50 years, at a car boot sale a child will find the doll and ask ?Who?s this?? And his dad will take the doll, and when he?s got a quite moment pull the cord and listen with a glee and remember the ol? days, of how it used to be.

It's knew not new. I knew that...

For some light hearted distraction here's some nice views of his bald patch

Others have photo shopped what he would look like without the comb back across and side, and without the spray tan - it's a great improvement and he would look far more statesman like.

He could also take Keith (RIP) place in Prodigy

Thank god, interesting to see how the Bojo circus sees the future with Biden.

F c u k Trump and all he stands for, good riddance.

I hope he is man enough to commit suicide.

But I guess his narcissism will never allow that.

Narcissism is the key word here. What we're gonna see over the next few months is a narcissist kicking and screaming as much as possible. The presidency didn't help his narcissism. People just saying yes to him and the echo chamber of people saying "they love you" or "you're the best president" emboldened him to believe he's legitimately the greatest person to have ever lived.

It's gonna be glorious to watch him thrash and kick about whilst every member of the GOP bails on him as they value their career more than Trump's. It's already happening in some instances. He's gonna get hung out to dry.

The country is better off without any members of the Trump family around.

ED - fair points !

The key exercise for those around him now (both Rep and Dem), if they are true patriots concerned about America as a nation, is to limit the damage he is likely to wilfully inflict on the structures, processes and people within reach.

Don?t care about America.

He doesn?t care about Republicans or the Republican party.

He doesn?t really care about the presidency, it is just a vehicle for self-betterment of him and his family.

Hopefully today puts a halt to any ambitions his children had of being either president or in government, they are a nasty lot and we are best rid as soon as possible

Good model for the Brexit ?referendum? !

Repeat after me 'a referendum is not the same as a general election'.....

It?s a shame to see all those people refusing to accept the result of a democratic vote.

I realise that on the popular vote Biden has only polled just over 50% and some people would say that isn?t a majority and definitely not a people?s vote, will of the people etc.

Perhaps they think the voters for Biden were lied to, didn?t know what they were voting for and so on.

The messaging coming from the inner circle is that Trump would agree to a non disruptive handover if certain conditions were met. That could literally be anything of course but I would hazard a guess that immunity from prosecution over his tax and loan affairs might be in there. Moe than that, it sounds as though he is going to try and blackmail his way out of the White House door and that is absolutely something that can not be allowed to happen.Time for the law to show him who is boss.

He has a 40 year history of cross floor collaboration.

It's very difficult not to know what he's about and in his speech last night that's what he emphasised.

I can only imagine how pleased you were with yourself when you typed that ;-)

But it remains a glib reponse to a extremely serious situation

When I say a referendum is not the same as an election, it's clear I'm referring to the fact that elections cycles are the democratic norm, well-established and are able to be reversed in subsequent elections - people can be upset about their outcome but they can be judged and reversed. Johnson got his 80 seat majority last year but there was no movement to nullify or recount the election result

Referendums - specifically the shape and manner in which it was handled of THIS referendum - throws all that out the window. It's a massive, self-inflcited wound at the best of times, and criminal in the middle of a pandemic.

Any other grown up country would have built in thresholds for such a momentous decision, or a mechanism to ratify. Indeed several leavers talked about this ratification pre referendum

And it remains a referendum built on an undeliverable promise. It is not a referendum about divorce, abortion, gun-control whatever

I know all of these are old points. But they remain as factual and true as ever

That referendum will destroy the united kingdom and SHOULD be reversed before it's too late. And that is something that is now near-impossible but still something we could work towards.

people like keano are too infected with the Sovrin-T virus to ever see that - but most sensible people can

Sounds ominous.

What I don?t understand is what has he got to bargain with?

He doesn?t seem to be in a position to offer deals, he lost the election and need to bugger off out of the White House.

Is there a threat that he will invoke those who he told to ?stand down, standby??

What is he going on about now.

?We believe these people are thieves. The big city machines are corrupt. This was a stolen election. Best pollster in Britain wrote this morning that this clearly was a stolen election, that it?s impossible to imagine that Biden outran Obama in some of these states."

" didn?t know what they were voting for and so on."

if leavers knew what they were voting for they (in and oustide government) wouldn't have spent the last 4 years being permamantly cross about every interpretation of brexit

any day now JOhnson will sign a deal or not sign a deal - what did YOU vote for Keano? Deal or no deal?

    • In just two days, we’ll take to the streets to show Donald Trump that he and his politics are not welcome here. On Saturday the global far-right mobilised their biggest protest for decades. We want to show that supporters of Trump and fascism are not the majority – far from it. Here are all the details you need for the day. The march assembles at Portland Place, near the BBC, at 2pm (see assembly blocs below). After speeches here, the march will move off at 3pm. It will then march down Regent St, through Piccadilly Circus, on Whitehall (past Downing St) to our rally at Parliament Square. The rally at Parliament Square will begin around 5pm and finish at 7pm. If you can’t make it to the march, feel free to join the rally after work! (Nearest tube: Westminster). The short, accessible version of the route assembles at the top of Whitehall (SW1A 2DY) at 4.30pm to march to Parliament Square for 5pm. You may also prefer to just join the rally directly at Parliament Square.  Join a bloc – and make friends! Our movement is diverse, and various elements are forming ‘blocs’ on the march to emphasise their visual presence collectively. You can join these blocs or form up behind them:   A) Palestine, near BBC, W1A 1AA B) Climate, W1B 1NS C) Amnesty, around junction with New Cavendish St, W1B 1LU D) Migrants' rights, W1B 1LS E) Jewish bloc, W1B 1QQ F) Ukraine, around junction with Weymouth St, W1B 1JL G) Europe, W1B 1NR More stewards still needed Stewards are a crucial part of keeping the protest safe for everyone to participate. They are a visible point of contact for attendees who may need directions or other assistance. Experience of stewarding is useful but it's also fine if you haven't done it before. You will be issued with a hi-vis jacket and briefed in advance and on the day.  Sign up to be a steward Staying comfortable on the day The demonstration lasts for several hours, so we suggest you should:     Bring a bottle of water and snacks (and eat beforehand)     Charge your phone fully the night before, and bring a portable charger if you can     Go to the loo beforehand (really!)     Buddy up with someone, or stick together as a group – it can be hard to find people easily if people wander off     Coming alone? Protests can be a great place to meet like-minded people. If you feel unsure, you can always talk to a steward     Consider the weather: bring a waterproof jacket or wear suncream where necessary     Wear comfortable clothes and footwear, and use our accessible route if you need to (see above) Bring your friends and family on Wednesday. Let’s make this massive! In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
