...and the Worst I heard, repeatedly from Republicans, was ?you?re making this into a political issue and you?re going to divide the country !?.

I?ve read there?s 20 Republicans saying they are prepared to vote to convict. I hope many more will join them, to make a solid public statement that this should never repeat (ignoring their blatant hypocrisy, obvs) and to rid Trump from their leadership once and for all.

Hopefully it will come out in the wash how deep the attack on the 6th went. From what I've read there were multiple 'tours' of the building given to outsiders the day before, by GOP representatives. If that's the case and they were reconnaissance missions, those reps should end up behind bars.

If that is so, it was obviously pre-planned so the charges against Trump would be wrong.

By the way, I see the ?stolen? lectern was ?found? and used by Nancy yesterday.

She's going to fine members who disregard security measures and she'll take it straight from their salaries. So she's back and she's on fire.

There are some things coming out from the FBI investigation that at the very least suggest premeditated plans from the more military minded Trump fanatics. But that does not get Trump off the hook. He has been ramping this up ever since that first mention of electoral fraud, which it has to be pointed out, began BEFORE the election day itself. Right from the off, Trump was attacking postal ballots as a legitimate form of voting.

If enough Republicans vote to impeach in the Senate, it will be as much about reclaiming their party as it is from stopping Trump ever running again. The threats have already started against those brave enough to do it - from the very same Trump fanatics that are exonerating Trump from an culpability. What a mess of a party.

That is of course a possibility DR

And yes Blah Blah, it is a mess. It didn?t help of course that some states were changing the rules during the election for when postal ballots could be received but that might have been justified with Covid.

Accidently came upon a QAnon thread on twitter yesterday

They think that brooch that Nancy Pelosi wears signifies she's the leader of the deep state. She didn't wear it earlier this week and they suggested she's been toppled.

The Q Anon rabbit hole is a joy to behold. There is a branch that believe that Trump will command the army to stop the inauguration too and that everything so far is all just part of the plan. They are heavily into symbols just like every cult though. Everything is a sign of something.

He?s refusing to pay Giuliani?s fees for the last 2mths.

($20k per day x 60 days = $1.2m)

There will be no DoJ or White House legal team to hide behind in this 2nd impeachment.

He?s having a hard time finding a legal team to represent him.

I commend Sidney Powell as his attorney, she?ll do a great job defending him (yes I?m being vindictive !)

    • Be careful out there  !   I got a ticket for 1 minute over  on Lordship Lane   ---- with a blue badge , on a single yellow ...    I returned at 4.03pm to find the ticket -- he waited till 4.01pm with ticket and then scarpered  Naturally i appealed it and this was the response   We refer to the informal challenge you have made against the issue of the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) JK17113680 You were parked on a single yellow line with one yellow kerb marking. There is a sign at the location advising that no loading is permitted Monday-Friday, 7 am to 10 am, and then 4 pm to 7 pm. Loading is permitted for a maximum of 40 minutes between 10 am and 4 pm, and then again after 7 pm. You were observed parked at 4:01 pm. and therefore issued a PCN for parking at a time when the rule applies. The purpose of this rule is to improve traffic flow and safety at all times. This contravention is immediately enforceable, and therefore, a PCN can be issued straight away as no observation period is needed. This rule applies to disabled badge holders, too; it is not a situation where you may use your disabled badge. Although your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) was correctly given, we have cancelled it on this occasion, as a gesture of goodwill. Please note that this cancellation does not set a precedent for other PCNs issued in the future under similar circumstances, as each case is dealt with on its own merits. Yours sincerely Anita Hayler Southwark Parking
