Beej, please read my posts above before commenting. I am not naive at all and know its people from all walks of life who deal and use drugs. My point is that pushing drugs is illegal so why be so blatant selling on a busy pavement in broad daylight? The blatant cheekiness of it pisses me off!

I'd say a lot cheekier were the SIX coppers at East Dulwich police station who were prosecuted for fairly major drug dealing and related offences. *They* were cheeky. Well beyond cheeky, really: they were contributing to some of the really serious shit going on in this area in a pretty direct fashion.

Louisiana,

you're referring to the South East Regional Crime Squad (SERCS), who did indeed parade out of ED Nick.

However, none of their shenannigans were in ED, it was just somewhere to bring their il gotten gains back to.

It's over 15 yrs old, but well documented in 'Bent Coppers' by Graeme McLaglan

Not really relevant to the thread methinks

Ah, yes, Bent Coppers, the official - Met - story.

(Legal cases linked to this lot still going on through the noughties...and there were serious offences committed by their contacts/people they were handling, in this area, including on the street and in public places. It was not just about the drugs.)

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
