Experienced babysitter Available!

Recommended Posts

Hello parents,

I am a babysitter looking for a lovely family to work for. Ideally, I would like to do a few hours of babysitting - I do school pick ups/drop offs.

I am 20 years old and my name is Lara. I am Qualified level 2 in childcare and worked at nurseries before and also done/do some babysitting. I have worked with newborns/babies ,twin babies, toddlers and older children. I mostly enjoy working with babies and toddlers/preschoolers but I don't mind looking after older children.

I would describe myself as a very friendly, patient, caring, committed individual and amazing with children! I have 4 sisters: two live in Portugal and the other 2 with me(3yo&9yo). I am Bilingual - I speak fluent English and Portuguese,

I charge ?10 an hour.

I don't drive, but I am willing to travel.

If you have a pet I don't mid looking after it, I truly love animals!

CV and great references available upon request.

Please don't hesitate to get in contact with me if you're interested, I am available to start immediately!

Hi Lara,

I hope you are well. I have just read your post with great interest.

We are currently looking for someone to collect our 9 year old daughter from school 2/3 days a week.

Please get in touch if you are interested and still available. My number is 07968 197 622. Or I'd be happy to call you at a time that suits you.

Thanks

Stella

    • I used a white floor paint, whether you keep redoing it depends on how bothered you are about scuffs, which I'm not 😂 I just pretend it's supposed to look like that 😂 I hoover it then mop it with Flash or something similar in a bucket. Some things have stained it in places, but obviously a white floor in a kitchen is liable to get stained. Sometimes I put rugs down if I want a change. You need to make sure the floorboards don't have gaps where water could get in and rot them. In the kitchen I originally had a concrete floor, so tongue and groove was put over it  (so no gaps between the boards, though it looks like floorboards) but my bathroom has actual floorboards which were painted white. I know people who have just used ordinary paint rather than floor paint, but I imagine it's not so hard-wearing. You could ask advice in a paint shop.
    • Oh Thanks can I ask what paints or other products you used and is it long lasting or do you have to keep redoing it?
    • Yes, I have. Just make sure they are thoroughly dry before anyone walks on them. I had some truly terrible "builders" doing my kitchen.
