Hi

Sorry, wasn't sure exactly where to put this. I was just wondering whether any of you very well-informed people on this forum could shed light on exactly which zone I live in? I am on Heber Road, so between ED (zone 2) and Forest Hill (zone 3, I think). I'm not sure if it matters so much if you travel by bus though...

Sorry - even I am embarrassed by the unexcitingness of this post :-$

Thanks!

Before the flat rate bus fares (one price regardless of number if stops travelled), zones made a difference on buses since your fare was based on zones travelled. Now so long as you have any Travelcard with a bus component, you can get on any bus.

The quote above says you can use buses in ALL zones but only trams if you have other zones.

I live in zone 3 but since I only catch trains in 1/2, I can just buy the z1/2 travelcard. When I first lived there, it was a z1-3 pass

Yup... you've paid for the bus fare so its irrelevant how far you travel on it. I've used mine out in zone 6/7 without any hassle
