I really like the NUK ones, the soft teat is an easy transfer and they can keep on using them. On the transfer from formula to cows I just started mixing the two and adjusting the ratio over about a week I think until was just using cows milk.
You could just ditch bottles and use cups instead, which is better for teeth. I did this cold turkey at 12 months and my little boy wouldn't drink formula from a cup so he just had cows' milk or water from then on. If you're giving vitamins and your baby is eating iron-rich foods then I think that's ok.

The Nuk are free flow which is good and if you are only using for milk this is ok for teeth (according to my dentist) Juice we stick to cups - those doidy cups are great also for when they are learning to use a cup.

Good luck, sometimes I think it is pretty much trial and error on what works for each child but everyone gets there in the end!

    • A friend of mine was into "skill swap" about 40 years ago. It wasn't within an organised scheme, she just offered services like help with painting in exchange for services received. She upset some people as they carried out their services for a living, I.e. for money. An organised scheme sounds much better.
    • Gosh, that is a blast from the past.  Friends in York were into this, he was an accountant and had things like decorating done in exchange.  Not sure if it was equivalent in terms of hours, and I recall HMRC being interested as it was a way of tax avoidance.   A link for a London wide scheme but have no idea of its popularity: https://www.londonwide.letslink.org/members/index.php
    • Is anyone else having problems trying to register their car for a residents LTN permit for upland road as the council web site only seems to want to allow blue badge holders a permit .
    • Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.
