Ipod phone is it any good?

Was thinking of asking my other half for a Ipod phone for Christmas.

dont know much about them? are they any good? can I have some input please or are

they a waste of money?.

I've found that they cut out quite a bit mid-conversation, battery dies quick and you need tiny tiny fingers to be able to use that damn keypad. I prefer my Blackberry for calls and emails although internet use is rubbish

personally i love mine and would recommend getting one. yes they are pricey but i use mine a lot. never had a problem with it cutting out or anything. can get my emails on it, use the net, msn and skype. love the apps too. lots of games, train times, ocado shopping and like not having to take both my phone and my ipod when travelling around.

Another vote here for the iphone, I couldnt be witout it! Find it really easy to use and have no problems with it cutting out etc.
