Recommended Posts

If you haven't yet experienced the Jam, come and see what all the fuss is about. On the first Wednesday of every month we gather together some of London's top session musicians, some talented hobbyists and a few famous faces. It's basically a club for musicians but whether you play or not feel free to drop by, take advantage of the cheap bar and soak up some truly remarkable music. Come once and you'll be a regular for life, guaranteed!

From 8-10pm we showcase acts, solo artists, bands and collaborations from 10-midnight we shake things up and mix and match different musicians and instruments to achieve some awesome music.

If you or your band would like to perform a couple of songs turn up at 7:30 and we'll add you to the roster.

See you at the bar.

First Wednesday of the month at Southwark Sports Social, The Clubhouse, 37 Dulwich Common (that's the South Circular between the Grove Tavern and Dulwich College) SE21 7EU

The venue is also available at reasonable rates for parties, weddings, happenings etc.

Tonight's the night, Doors 7.20, first act 7.45, bar open 'till midnight.

If you want to play or spotlight your act/band ask for Davide (pronounced Dav-eed)and register early.

We get very busy. You are more than welcome to come and just enjoy the amazing talent and cheap bar!

Thanks.

    • A lot to agree with here - don’t get me started on Irish people complaining about immigration! - but that final paragraph is once again a cop out  there’s a lot of extreme right wing money stirring up the division that people are feeling - but there is zero excuse for handing power to these people. We live in a democracy and if we have enough people willing to give it up then judging those people foolish enough to do so is not only something that will happen, it is something that the rest of us should be morally compelled to do  if someone wouldn’t “normally” vote for a racist party yet somehow will do so because they hear someone like me saying that would be bad, then you better believe I’m judging them

    • The current wave of xenophobia is due to powerful/influential people stirring up hatred.  It;'s what happened in the past, think 1930s Germany.  It seems to be even easier now as so many get their information from social media, whether it is right or wrong.  The media seeking so called balance will bring some nutter on, they don't then bring a nutter on to counteract that. They now seem to turn to Reform at the first opportunity. So your life is 'shite', let;s blame someone else.  Whilst sounding a bit like a Tory, taking some ownership/personal responsibility would be a start.  There are some situations where that may be more challenging, in deindustrialised 'left behind' wasteland we can't all get on our bikes and find work.  But I loathe how it is now popular to blame those of us from relatively modest backgrounds, like me, who did see education and knowledge as a way to self improve. Now we are seen by some as smug liberals......
    • Kwik Fit buggered up an A/C leak diagnosis for me (saying there wasn't one, when there was) and sold a regas. The vehicle had to be taken to an A/C specialist for condensor replacement and a further regas. Not impressed.
