"We rented the space for our daughter's 4th birthday party and loved it. Well equipped, tons of room, and Shona was really helpful and accommodating. Very good value for money. Would definitely rent the space again."

"We held our daughter's 5th birthday bash at Space at 61 last Sunday and it was the perfect place for a kid's party. Space for games, crafts and dancing as well as toys already there for the smaller children. We could do what we wanted with the venue but all the catering was handled for us - including much needed bacon sandwiches and coffee for the adults! We will definitely hire again!"

    • Most of the groceries shops in Lordship Lane have a security presence…curious thing is I and another woman recently saw a shop lifter lift and not pay for a couple of packet of steaks, veg and bottle of wine..  Literally walked Pat the tills, one member of staff and security guard despite someone else going in front by a few people and mentioning person in question! I have to say, speechless and admired their bravado - I would not have the guts and knowing my luck, if I accidentally didn’t put something tru the till despite receipt would prob get stopped! Yes, worked with families, homeless and other people who were struggling for food so I do understand why they do it.. sad when you think about it, that in this day and age, all sorts of c people need assistance and help from community in general, food banks, olio etc….
