Currently there is a free Street Fighter game, as well as Max Payne 3 for ?3.75 (or something) and "Bully" for ?3, which I'd always thought about trying, so for that money I'm in.

Am giving Godus a go, the crowd funded 'revolutionary' god game promised by conceptual gaming guru Peter Molyneux.

After studiously avoiding the micro-transactions *desperate sigh...aaah it's free* my conclusion was it is a much prettier version of populous with terrible control issues and no fun.

Still, I'll pick it up every now and then to see what prettiness my mortals will produce, it *is* very pretty, though you have to destroy all that prettiness to make a go of it, but hey.

Tut tut Peter, we expect better from you.

Fable is a beautiful world but did I enjoy playing it? I feel bad for not being more enthusiastic

I love the Fable games (well the 2 that I've played anyway).

he made populous, syndicate, black & White, the Fable games, Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park.

I loved populous back then, like sj i didn't really take to black & white as much as i wanted to, I really enjoyed Dungeon Keeper, amd syndicate was pretty good.

ANd yeah, Fable was good. A little unsatisfactory and the cool ideas didn't translate to any real point in the game, but they were still fun.

My PC is protesting at the moment. It instatnly shuts down if I try to play any games.

Not sure what's up.

Hard drive is ok, I'm figuring something's up with the on-board graphics card.

In the mean time, no gaming on it :(
