St Johns & St Clements May Fair Sat 20th May 12pm-3pm, Adys Road / Goose Green

Recommended Posts

St Johns & St Clements Primary School are holding their annual May Fair on Saturday 20th May from 12pm - 3pm.

There will be all sorts of fun going on, including a Pet Parade, a Human Hungry Hippo game for adults and children (ball court), musical performances from the children, including flautists, violinists and a brass band.

This year, the theme of the fair is 'TOP OF THE LEAGUE' - celebrating the brilliant achievements of our talented children.

There will be plenty of activities and games to join in with, such as Football SHoot Out, Arts & Crafts, a Bouncy Castle, toddler games such as Hook-a-duck, Lucky Dip and our phenomenal Golden Ticket stall with the most amazing prizes.

Local businesses will be exhibiting their goods and there will be some delicious food on offer, along with Popcorn & Ice Cream and a Pimms Bar for the grown-ups. And to top it all off, and a Family Friendly Football match at 3.10pm on Goose Green.

Our BBQ chefs will be cooking up some lush BBQ'd food, such as prime beef burgers, 'Farmhouse' sausages and jerk chicken from 'William Rose'.

Come and join in with the fun and support your local primary school.

There's LOTS of fun for everyone!

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
