Washing liquitab stain on Uggs...can any clever Mum help?

I know this is strictly not family realted but i figured mums are quite likely to know the answer.

Have just put some washing on and one of those liquitab affairs split open and dropped a big ugly blob on my lovely new-ish Uggs.

Anybody got a clue how to deal with it????

something like talc or bicarb sprinled liberally then brisk brushing?

my sister works for Ugg and she always uses baby wipes as first port of call...

Try masking tape to see if it will gently pull off the washing liquid and bring up the pile. Approach water with caution as the soap will foam up (but sure you know that)...

In Australia (when Uggs were first around in the early 80's) we used to use a special ugg boot eraser...its a bit like a suede rubber...not sure if you can get them over here..but it rubs off a portion of the lamb skin to freshen it up and remove the stain....

Vanthorne - I bought something that sounds a bit like that from John Barnett - it doesn't c ompletely remove the stain but it does help. Might be good once you've masking taped/baby wiped most of it off?
