Fireworks going off! Where?

Who is the inconsiderate person/s letting off a spate of fireworks heard far and wide ten minutes ago?

I'm gonna throw it in... was only a few and not for very long... those ruddy annoying gnat buzzing bikes that are frequently zooming around late at night disturb more *shrugs

I'm at Horniman end of Underhill and they seemed to be coming from the Woodvale/Horniman direction. They were quite small and short-lived in comparison to some I've heard late at night.

I could hear them quite clearly round Peckham Rye... with the windows closed. Yeah I know it wasn't for very long, but it's still selfish and unnecessary.

Not for you, maybe. It's the middle of the night for small children though. I'm not going to get too hung up on it as it's not a common problem, but it is rather antisocial.

That explains what woke me up. I couldn't work out what it was, I thought it was more thunder, like a few days previously. That thunder was the longest, loudest, house shaking thunder I have ever heard. I wish I was awake enough to see the lightning!
