hi everyone,

I know Ingrid did a fantastic job, she really helped the Dulwich community through art and I want to try and continue getting artists coming into Dulwich. I have a lot of connections with artists - we just need the walls.

I am in touch with a street artist with a very large following and he is one of the big names in street art. He said if we can find a wall prominent enough he will paint it.

If there is anyone in Dulwich who would like an awesome piece to go on to their wall or knows anyone who could be interest please get in contact.

many thanks

exactly one I was thinking of, very good one. I'll add that to the list.

I will try to reach out to the owners.

It used to have a lovely, extravagant and trippy full-length mural which had to be painted over because of repairs. Another one there would be great - and well protected from the two-bit taggers who seem to enjoy spoiling the murals around here.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions and those who have messaged me. I'm on holiday for the next two weeeks so might be slow getting back to people. I've put a few letters through people's doors to hope to get a response. Please keep coming to me. Hopefully we will have a few more pictures in the summer at some point, will keeep everyone in the loop. Thanks

Thanks for thinking of this post. I will check all of these walls on my return from holidays, I'll post letters to see if we can get the ball rolling.

Thanks again

    • I definitely have some grass cuttings, and various bits of plant cuttings etc, which has been piling up in my garden. I’ve been meaning to bag it up, but don’t have much time on account of two small children.  if that helps?
    • Walking around Belgravia and Knightsbridge stopping to look at window displays in Harvey Nics and Harrods. Tea at The Ritz and Burlington Arcade. Theatre without doubt - concert at Royal Albert Hall. Must go to Fortnum and Mason and Foyles Bookshop. London is magical at Christmas Time whoever and whatever one does. Personally, avoid Winter whatever it's called in Hyde Park - usually near Hyde Park Corner - got it Winter Wonderland. Expensive, tacky. See what’s on at Sachi Gallery in Sloane Square - sounds really crazy but a walk thru any of the parks and even a row on the Sepentine plus visit that gallery.
    • Eynella road is nowhere near the Herne Hill Oxfam shop. Do you mean Stradella?
    • Both great ideas. I went round that house in the early eighties (I think it was, may have been later),  but I think the tour is differently done now (and a lot more expensive!)
