Everyone loves Chicken Kiev's - but with upwards of 15g of fat in each one, and mostly reconstituted chicken guts mushed up (i'm assuming here) there are a guilty pleasure that I am unwilling to partake in.


However, I experimented making my own healthy(ier) ones the other day.


1. Buy nice chicken breasts from shop

2. Cover in clingfilm and bash with a rolling pin till flatter

3. Spoon in some Philadelphia light in the middle

4. Fold into Kiev type shape

5. Dunk in bowl of flour

6. Dip in beaten eggs

7. Cover in whizzed up brown bread and cajun spice

8. Shove in oven for 20-25 mins.

9. Serve with a salad


Lovely dinner but not a heart attack.
