?Only, it isn't. Even if we accept "the purpose" of the act is as you say, nothing you raised impacts his ability to comply with the law.?

What if Boris wrote the letter and attached it to a carrier pigeon that regrettably didn?t make it out of England due to confusion during a pheasant shoot?

parliament has had a (limited) opportunity to ask questions on brexit planning and yellowhammer and the country had an opportunity to hear the same

tell me one thing that makes talk about pigeons anything other than rubbish

Wow!

?tell me one thing that makes talk about pigeons anything other than rubbish?

Treat it as an allegory pk - a device to simplify a broader matter. Stepdown is concerned that Boris must obey the law. What does the Act say about non-delivery? Perhaps you can advise

Sovereignty of Parliament over an Executive that tried to shut it down and silence scrutiny, i.e one of the constitutional pillars of our democracy. As achievements go that's quite a biggie.

As for parliamentary specifics, a number of Acts that otherwise would've been lost had prorogation not been annulled, one being on domestic violence...

Suggest you read this, it's why Johnson/Cummings are now shitting themselves...

There is no evidence we haven?t left. Plenty of guesswork about what might or might not happen from the people who didn?t see the financial crash staring them in the face.

Honestly Sephiroth and pk I?ve no idea what will happen.

The current thinking seems to be the EU will give us an extension until next summer to allow a confirmatory referendum to take place which is being planned by Remainers who might introduce a bill for this as early as next week.

Unless of course Boris has a dastardly plan

No, he's actually a long-term Eurosceptic dating back to Maastricht. He's a legal commentator and primarily comments from the perspective of law and policy...and watching panda videos (in-joke)

So whats going to be in the Queens speech next week and should it be voted down ?.

Just wondering if a pledge is made in the Queens speech to ask for an extension or alternatively NOT to ask for an extension what should remainers hope for and if the Queens speech is voted down is that automatically an election ?.

    • I believe there is a minor injuries department at Guys, though I may have misremembered. Not very convenient for SE22 now the 40 no longer goes near. You have to get 2 buses or a train. Charging people (not sure if you mean financially or legally) would waste a lot more time, I would have thought? And  a bad bruise could be serious, depending on the cause and possibly other symptoms.

    • Hey all, A month ago 2 black youths in ski masks/balaclavas on an electric bike tried to rob me where the old Poundland was on Lordship Lane. Last night, what seemed like the same two people tried to rob a Deliveroo driver by The Great Exhibition pub while I walked past. The driver swerved and nearly crashed, and they made off. Not sure what can actually be done about this, and if any residents have spoken to police. I can only implore people not to walk around with noise-cancelling headphones on..because sadly, you will get robbed.
