ClareC
Baby number 1 is 13 mths, baby 2 due in 10 weeks..... My parents have said they will have our daughter for a weekend so we can go away as a couple for a weekend before baby 2 arrives. Any recommendations of places to go / stay? Wanting something relaxing but open to all suggestions :-) Thankyou Clare Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15793-recommendation-for-weekend-away/ Share on other sites
candj
Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons? My husband and I went last august without children before we had our third and it was absolutely lovely. You have to book for two nights. Enjoy !! knackered cow
Really depends on your budget but here are a few recommendations for some places in the U.K.Bath- as it's a fantastic place with lots to see and it's easy to get to by train.http://www.thermaebathspa.com/treatments/ourtreatments/mumstobe/http://www.thequeensberry.co.uk/index.phphttp://www.royalcrescent.co.uk/Babington House is a real treat. http://www.babingtonhouse.co.uk/These places are nice too that are in the Cotswolds...http://www.cotswoldhouse.com/http://www.cotswold-inns-hotels.co.uk/property/the_swan_hotel?/swanOr either of these places as they are just over an hours drive from East Dulwich.http://www.theoldebell.co.uk/home.phphttp://www.thecrownamersham.com/You could always do Paris or Barcelona but perhaps not the best if you want to relax.Have fun! bluesuperted
The Old Granary Mill in Woodbridge, Suffolk and the Lamb in Burford near Oxford (we spent first night of our honeymoon there) are two of our favourite for characterful and quietly luxurious weekends away. One day we will return!http://www.theoldgranarycottage.co.uk/about.htmhttp://www.cotswold-inns-hotels.co.uk/property/the_lamb_inn?/lamb Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15793-recommendation-for-weekend-away/#findComment-411214 Share on other sites
