Hi,

we're down to just needing 5 more cards; then 2 little boys will be happy and their mother (me) can get back to the other things in life (like a decent bottle of wine...)

We need: 42, 43, 55, 70 and 124

We have lots of spares to swap!

Julie

Hi Maninder, we have #78, #119, #129 & #139 from your list , if you still need it.

Would you be kind to check if you have any of these numbers in your pile:?

1 , 4 , 8 , 9 , 11 , 18, 19?

43 , 45 , 61 , 67?

80 , 82 , 87 , 91?

103 , 114 , 116 , 121?

Many thanks.

Many thanks

    • Considering the private revision study that my children undertook, perhaps 15 to 20 years ago in that library it seems a shame they have timed the refurbishment so it won't be open at this crucial time for children. But hey, so long as it's greener...
    • Enforcement costs money which I doubt the fines actually pay for. Presumably it hasn't been a priority.

    • Per Cllr McAsh, as quoted above: “We are currently updating our Enforcement Policy and changes will allow for the issuing of civil penalties ranging from £175 to £300 for visible smoke emissions, replacing the previous reliance on criminal prosecution. " Is anyone au fait with the Clean Air Act 1993, and  particularly with the state of 'Smoke Control' law and practice generally?  I've just been looking  through some of it for the first time and, afaics, the civil penalties mentioned  were introduced into the Clean Air Act, at Schedule 1A, in May 2022.  So it seems that, in this particular,  it's a matter of the enforcement policy trailing well behind the legislation.  I'm not criticising that at all, but am curious.
