I am trying to look into the murder of Kalbinder Kaur Hayre. Kalbinder was an Asian woman killed during a racist attack in the Dartford area in 1985.I know there was a short documentary made about the incident called 'Sari Red' although I cannot find a link to watch this.

I would also like to know how to find old newspaper articles, I have tried looking on the internet and have come up with nothing. I must admit I am not great at 'surfing'. Any points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Dartford Library will probably have the local papers on micro film, if they haven't got them they'll know who has.

I haven't found the film online either, but you could try contacting the film-maker. It's 11-12 mins. long (and maybe only available on VHS?
