Can you rehome an affectionate, threadbare old cat?

Hi all

I was in to Celia Hammond today, and they want to keep Mr Mooney in for a little longer to try to treat his wobbly legs and joint pain.

Please do still go in and visit the Lewisham branch, as there are SO many old, young, quirky and beautiful cats that need a loving home.

Go visit

- Nancy: Super friendly young girl who won't let you go once you stroke her

- Chip: A big old ex-stray who is super mellow and needs some space.

- Immie: A beautiful old white girl looking for a retirement home

- Buddy and Edgar: Two MONSTER lads who love attention

Sorry to let you know about Mr Mooney for the time being, but I hope you'll still go visit!

Does he have any health issues? I'll be willing if maybe we could call it a foster situation because I'm not working right now and would struggle with vets fees.

Is he happy being an indoor puss? I could arrange access to an outside view so he could watch the world go by

Hi Siousxie

Yeah, he is on joint supplements and some pain management. Expected for an older street lad.

There has been some lovely interest in Mr Mooney, yourself included, and he may had a home this weekend. If not, I'm sure the rehoming team would love to talk to you about him.

Regardless of this, CHAT has SO many cats of different ages that would LOVE to meet you. Lewisham has open days Sat/Sun 1-5pm. Why not pop in and talk to the team about an indoor cat? Canning Town can show you round by appointment.

If you need any more info, the rehoming team would be happy to help.

    • The empty shelves is well reported, but the sewage smell has been awful for weeks if not months, and just keeps getting worse. It started off near the Costa machine/ behind the delivery and collections booth thing, but now it hits you the second you walk in the store. I’m amazed nothing (visibly at least) appears to be going on to fix it. Somewhat relieved it’s not just me who can smell it!
