But oil isnt just to run cars with is it.most things would close down without it.

It wasnt the west who broke Libya up it was its own people who were themselves not benifiting from having a despot in

charge of that oil.

They asked the west to help them from being slaughtered.

Almost forty years living under Gaddaffi, the people had enough they may not want democracy but just to move into the

twenty first century like other places round the world.

The days of people wrapped in blankets ,and living in tents and mass adulation of some man why the people are kept in the middle ages are gone peace and sharing, and fair trading is what most people want .

That means trading oil with countries so all their people can benifit and build there country fit for the twentyfirst century. God or Allah would want people to be happy, not dead ,starving and full of hate.

    • Where are the far left in all of this flag business? Thats a red herring  there is the far right leading this nonsense, a lot of people following them who claim to be ordinary people (but very little digging and oh guess what) and them there is everyone else (right, centre, left) opposing them    there is no “both-sides” on this
    • Deleted as I've just repeated what has already been said!
    • That is hilarious (not really) but what about all the copious parking for e-bikes and scooters?
    • How beautifully ironic, the article says mobs putting flags up are roaming the streets shouting "Sieg Heil" the cry of our enemy in ww2 determined to take our sovereignty away.  Its almost moronic. I saw something the other day that discussed how the medoa highlights the opposing ends of the situation, with the extreme right at one end and the far left at the other. What it mention are the ordinary people in the middle who don't support either extremes but still have genuine views that are being ignored by the media.
