Bats in the village

Is it common to see bats in the garden 9pm tonight?

Dulwich Village. Would be interested to know if this is a common occurrence.

I'm in Herne Hill and they fly around my garden every night at dusk.

I have lots of flowers and some night scented especially to attract moths and therefore bats.

I've only noticed them recently too, circling around the garden at night. I'm in Court Lane.

I have seen them in Woodwarde Road.

In early autumn, there's usually an organised bat walk in Greendale. (In the 'What's On' section here.)

IIRC every species of British bat has been recorded round there.
