ce
I am a 40 year old female. I have short hair and generally am a bit of a Tom boy. Never had long hair, rarely wear make up etc.I usually go to bokki's salon in herne hill but am down to my last pennies and need hair cut for an interview tomorrow. Why is it that jazz barbers (77 lordship lane) charge ?15 for a men's cut but ?35 for women's?Dulwich barbers (134 Lordship Lane) flat out refused to even cut it...I don't personally like the term "feminism" or "sexist" because I believe in equality. No sex is better or deserves different treatment....Any ideas on why then in 2017, in what I normally proudly describe as a forward thinking suburb, are we treating women like this??? Jessie
Go to Cut Throat in Peckham - they don't differentiate on gender, and charge per hair length and not genitalia Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/162222-lordship-lane-barber-shops/#findComment-1162707 Share on other sites
