New Charter School building site noise at 4am

Hi James - as you know from previous correspondence, we back on to the site of the new health centre/school behind Melbourne Grove. We are still occasionally disturbed by generator noise in the night, but it's not generally too much of an issue. Last night, however, we were woken up at 4am by noise from the site - either them being robbed or, more likely, taking delivery of some materials. Can you let me know what's going on and get some assurances from the contractor that that will never happen again?

My thoughts with you - sleep deprivation is a terrible thing. Although it's school holidays, the School's headteacher, Alex Crossman, may be checking his emails. I would suggest sending him an email. He's a great guy and cares very much about the community in which the new school will be situated. Hope you catch up on your sleep.

As mentioned in the text of the OP but not the title, this may have more to do with the health centre than the school, in which case I doubt the head will be able to assist.

You were woken at 4am and thought the site was being robbed... did you call the police? If not, why not?

Could be the railway works, we live near east dulwich station and had a letter about overnight works to the tracks
