Hi everyone,

Just wanted to recommend Mike at Mad4fitness for personal training sessions. He is very friendly and enthusiastic which takes your mind off the exercise! Lots of fun exercises though so is never boring. He is very attentive and the working out is very effective.

Nice surroundings and very convenient in east dulwich. Highly recommended!

Another recommendation for Mike at Mad4fitness!

I already noticed a difference in my fitness levels after 2 sessions and his friendly and motivating approach is encouraging to want to keep it up. He focuses on technique to ensure you get the most of your workout, and never makes you feel like you can't do something (sessions are based around individuals' own fitness and goals). The studio space is also good with the right level of equipment - overall, excellent all round.

Thanks Mike :)

Hi all

Mike didn't ask me to do this but I wanted to because I was just thinking about how far I've come in the last few months. I strongly recommend training with Mike. First of all he's very enthusiastic and friendly which makes the sessions enjoyable. Also his training is effective and varied so you don't get bored. He also encouraged me to set the pace but he pushed me just enough. I've just made small changes to my diet and now incorporate regular exercise into my schedule. Plus I learned some good techniques (lifting weights- which was one of my personal goals). Wishing you all the best Mike! Thanks!

Hi Belinda

What a lovely surprise, very unexpected but a huge thank you, great to get such lovely feedback. It was such a pleasure to train you and see you really progress on the weights, made me very proud.

All the best to you too Belinda you deserve it.

Best Regards

Mike

    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
    • Watching my cats over the years with foxes, I've found that foxes have totally ignored them. One exception was when a young fox hadn't seen my cat and found himself eye to eye with my cat at a distance of 1 metre. There was a stand off but the fox blinked first and my cat chased him out of the garden. So proud of her. I believe when foxes have attacked cats, the cat has been vulnerable  - old, young, ill wounded.
    • It's also possible that someone is hand feeding foxes and encouraging them by this to approach others. I have heard of foxes attacking young children (if only anecdotally) but not adults. They do seem to attack cats.
