Lordship lane / east dulwich road closed

See that this is closed any body know how long for and there seems to be so much road works but hardly anybody actually fixing them ???

Upto three weeks due to emergency repairs required.

...and only a matter of time before someone is injured from the rush hour traffic diverting up East Dulwich Road (Goose Green church side). Too many near misses in just a few days!

Also noticed, at the Adys Road/Crystal Palace Road traffic lights, a large number of cars turning right from Crystal Palace Road onto East Dulwich Road. Don't know if the no right turn has been suspended for the duration of the works or just people trying to avoid the roadworks & ignoring the sign. Certainly caused much confusion for drivers coming from Adys Road. An accident waiting to happen.

Well it seemed to have opened again today. I must admit I didn't assume it was anything to do with roadworks, but most likely an awful accident. BTW I have complained numerous times to the council about the atrocious timing of the lights at the OTHER end of ED Rd. When you turn right there, as you turn , traffic is already moving towards you. It is obvious to me that the time allotted to one change was mis-applied ,and appears to have been added to the other one as sometimes you have wait ages there to be able to turn right, and the times when you can turn, its only a couple of seconds before traffio from the right and left start moving, WHILE one is still executing a right turn. I have never seen such awful timing at any other junction in London.It also seems to that they are waiting for an awful accident to happen.
