Pop-up Restaurant - space wanted

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

Our names are Dioni and Jose and we are the guys behind Spanish Particular, a Spanish inspired tapas pop-up.

We started our project one year ago at Spaceat61 in Cheltenham rd (Nunhead), and have been permanent at The Brockley Mess for the last 5 months. Due to they are trying to sell the cafe we need to find a new space! We love the area between Nunhead, Peckham and East Dulwich. So basically we write today to find out if someone know any places around that can be interested in host our pop-up for a medium-long term at least every Thursday to Saturday.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Thank you very much,

Dioni and Jose

Spanish Particular.

The All Inn One behind Forest Hill Station now has different pop ups each month. So far they've had French, Japanese comfort food, Indonesian, Thai and Greek. Residencies have generally been for a month. The owners,Julia or Richard, are the people to speak to.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
