Sorry Senor Chevalier but if your so bothered you should have been watching me at 7pm, which i have already said is the time i get back from work, to see if i was leaving. If you had been bothered enough to waste your time like that then you would have seem me trying to jump start the van, lying under it and trying various different things to get it started. Rather than try to mock me on here you are more than welcome to pop by and take a look at it yourself. I have apologised and tried to move so please refrain from dragging this on.
Furry nuff... I was concerned that such a great thread had reached its natural end but I can see that revving it up again (the thread rather than your van) is a bit tedious... I think EVERYONE on this thread would agree with me when I say - hope you get it started tomorrow.

Like your style Senor.

Sadly as much as i also wish for this thread to continue.

I have to concede that it is indeed true.

TCVM is real and did attempt to move the van. This was noted and appreciated :-)

@ TCVM - Aside from curry and cake, have any of your liberal supporters offered you their street to park in yet?

fascist, classist, ageist, may as well chuck-in sexist, to complete the kaleido-puzzle !!

BTW - CTVM if you wanna park outside my house gimme a PM, there's a speedbump (a bit noisy at night) right there but if you're OK with that I don't see a problem. On CP road.

CTVM, you're also welcome to park outside my house - just round the corner from KK's.

I'm pretty sure his curry will be better than mine though :)

Please don't judge all East Dulwich residents by the comments of some of those who have posted on this thread.

WTF is this going here, harsh words being dealt? As I said p4, rubyshoes is a legend for saying what others are thinking. Not enough people out there in the world today like that. id be happy to live on the same street for the record...

why is everyone talking about 'Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine'?

thank you tiger ranks. i think i will be in need of a clutch fairly soon. hopefully just a hydraulic problem. and thank you for all the offers to park outside your houses, maybe i could share myself among all you kind neighbours over the coming months, maybe even a street party in the summer, obviously not in rodwell rd though

London Bridge businessman forced to live in broken down van due to adverse personal circumstances, desperately trying to effect repairs to escape the righteous indignation of local council tax payers in East Dulwich.

"They seem like plucky birds not afraid to speak their mind." It's always easier to speak one's mind to everyone apart the person who's pissing us off.

Yeh, and also to hide behind forum names so they can speak their minds anonymously.

Well, you've done your job, forumers....I now feel a certain sympathy for TCVM, he seems like a solid & decent bloke, has a really nice tone to his posts etc.. I could almost be mates with him now. Shame that some of you don't share his tact, common sense & ability to communicate in a pleasant way. You're really enjoying getting personal about this, I'd so love to meet you for some home-made organic cupcakes one day. But hey, guess that'd never happen, because whilst you're blaming me for not talking to him face-to-face (and for the record I've tried knocking a few times & he's not been in), you lot are getting off on battering me (& others) down, quietly sat behind your computer screens (as Missus has already said). Pot-kettle-black, or what? Ooooh, what thrills you must be getting!

For anyone who's attempted to back me up - many thanks.

To TCVM - you're a nice guy & good luck with the van.

And to all of you who are now about to disect this post for a further battering - all the best of fun! xxx

    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.
    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff
    • CPR Dave, attendance records are available on Southwark's website. Maggie Browning has attended 100% of meetings. Jon Hartley has attended 65%.
