Has anyone recent (last couple of years) experience of Sihanoukville? Specifically Otres beach? I am thinking of going there with children aged 12, 13 and 15. Magazine reports of relaxed resort and clean white sands appeal, but Google stick man lets you walk along the beach and frankly it looks like an absolute dive. But appreciate Google might have not been for years.

We ended up not going after more than one person told us that it?s a bit of a party place for backpackers and moreover looking at photos of the places on the web - traveler photos and Google street - just didn?t look that great. The final nail in the coffin was someone mentioning the fairly open prostitution - including kids - in the area.

Don?t know where you?re going in Cambodia but if you?re including Siem Reap in the itinerary I can recommend DaNang in Vietnam for a beachy part to the holiday. There are direct flights and I can recommend specific beaches etc. let me know if interested.

    • Went to a fireworks display maybe 20 years ago at the Crystal Palace, it wasn't bonfire night, can't remember why it was being held, Capital Radio were there. There were people hanging from a crane, classical music, and quiet fireworks,  It was lovely, still dramatic with the colours but no loud bangs. Not sure why this hasn't become the norm.
    • Hi  After a surprising split I find myself trying to furnish a home. If you gave anything that you don't want that may help I'd be so so so grateful if you could let me know please.  Thank you so much
    • Hallo As far as I know  info you have quoted is wrong.  You can phone for an appointment although I have always found it easier to do online. Go to their website for info on how to book appointments Any requests I have made have been reviewed and answered by a GP within 4 hours
    • Nadia did a great job tidying up my very very overgrown yard. (See the before and after photos). I live in New Zealand and my tenants said a neighbour has been complaining about the out of control ivy. Nadia was easy to contact so over WhatsApp, managed to liaise between me and my tenants. Her quote was reasonable for the amount of work that needed doing, and the end result is great! She sent photos throughout so I could track progress. Would highly recommend her to others.
