I'd like to recommend Indaco Florist at 483 Lordship Ln. It's right up the forest hill end of the lane on that strip with the take aways the hair dressers and tile giant.

It's run by a really lovely guy called Paul who has been helping me choose flowers for special occasions for the last few years and has always chosen brilliant combinations that make me look good when I present them!

As my Fianc? particularly has become a regular, Paul always gives us excellent advice and a great deal.

He also put together our window boxes which we had for nearly a year with the same flowers still looking brilliant (they only died as we were away for a few weeks and they dried out). (I've attached a photo of from before we neglected them..)

We went back to Paul recently to replace the window boxes and he actually turned us away saying "If you wait until September then I can give you a display that will last the whole winter" I think that's the sign of someone who cares about the flowers and plants that he sells.

Paul is great. We've been buying flowers/plants/Christmas trees from him since we first moved here, so over 10 years. He has a lot of stock outside in the autumn/winter but at the moment it's all packed inside with the blinds down to keep the flowers in best condition so definitely worth walking into the store.

I love this place too! If driving, it's worth knowing that you can stop in the red box right outside. He's next to Barcelona Tapas.

Another vote for Paul here. Always has time for you, always honest about which flowers are past their best and which will last, always ready to put something different together if that's what you want.

Great point re the parking as well, worth a visit.

(Not great on football but no one's perfect.)

Another vote. Always helpful and cheerful, remembers that my mother in law can't stand lilies. I really enjoy going here and have had beautiful flowers on any number of special occasions.

I once had flowers delivered from there - they were 100s of times nicer than the ones from the more 'well known' lordship lane ones
