Old Pots

Hello, does anyone have experience disposing of old broken garden plant pots. These are very large and not easily transported, so I checked with Bulky Waste Collection but they are not on the list of acceptable items for collection. Any ideas?

If they're big I'd smash them up smaller and put the bits in buckets or boxes then tip into your bin or take to the recycling centre down the old kent road (or pay someone to).

If you can smash them up you could offer them free for gardeners to use for drainage.

Just to second what Robert Poste's Child said. Once broken into smallish pieces these would make good crocks for drainage.
